A home away from home
Nestled on the edge of the idyllic New Forest, Hampshire, The Forest Home is a cosy restaurant and bar that offers a wee taste of home for all the family. We pride ourselves in serving quality home-cooked food using locally sourced ingredients, with some produce harvested from our own vegetable garden and polytunnel. Can't get fresher than that!
Built in 1876, this historical and charming building is the perfect place for a delicious Sunday carvery lunch with the family in our cosy restaurant, or to chill with a craft ale by the wood-burning stove in the bar area.
Award-winning dining
We have been awarded an Award of Excellence 2020 by Trip Advisor and a five-star Cask Marque rating for our ales. We have also maintained a five-star food rating from New Forest District Council for the past several years.
Fun for all the family
Outside, we offer a picturesque beer garden, where you can enjoy a drink and the sunshine, while the kids blow off steam in our children's play area. And don't forget, we welcome furry babies too, with treats and a warm place by the fire ready for your precious pups to enjoy.
